Easy Classical **TOS Review**

Easy Classical is an extensive classical education history lesson plan.  The plan lays out an intricate schedule of reading, writing, geography, projects and read alouds. You simply purchase the recommended resources and follow the schedule. No planning, coordinating or scheduling required. You can see sample lesson plans here. You may look and think there's no way we can do all that but your not meant to do it all. She provides a lot of options then very clearly tells you to do the ones that interest your children and NOT to try to do it all.

From the Website,

Easy Classical Early Modern History Schedule includes 36 week-long schedules plus 45+ pages of charts, sheets, and helps that will enhance your child's learning. Each week's lesson has review questions with answers, and quizzes included with each lesson. This schedule also includes a shopping list for the next day, as well as detailed instructions on how to use the schedules and the books you purchase. We send you all of this neatly placed in a 1" 3-ring binder. Classical Curriculum selected for ease of use and outstanding content.
Books, projects, and lesson plans that make teaching science to grades K-6 easy.
Subject integration to save you time and enhance learning.
45+ pages of lesson plans, charts, and sheets to make teaching simple.
Assignments, projects, and ideas to make learning memorable for all learning styles.

I have used history schedules like this in the past and really enjoyed them. I didn't have all the books/writing programs required for this schedule but I can say the books I do have that are recommended are all excellent books. I have found my kids really enjoy the variety that comes from learning history through different literature rather than a textbook. I know for me a prewritten schedule such as this is the only way I could accomplish that.
It would take me hours upon hours to figure out such a complex schedule, hours that I simply do not have.

One thing I really like is this page on the website.  It clearly lets you know which books you need and gives you several places to find them.I'm a visual person so I love the pictures of the titles.

A lot of the books are great additions to your library that will benefit your children for years to come and are used throughout the program while others are readily available at the library and only used for a week at a time.  (these would be great to own as well but most of us cannot afford to buy that many titles)

The Schedule itself is $35.95 for a notebook version or $29.95 for a Digital Version available for purchase here.  This schedule is made for Elementary aged children K-6. For me this schedule is easily worth the money to not have to schedule it all out myself.
